By email
If you can't log in, email info@gigoranetwork.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm the request is yours and delete the account within 30 days.
Delete some data and keep your account
- Profile details: edit or remove your bio, skills, portfolio items, work history, website and services from your profile settings at any time.
- Remote job applications and saved searches: remove them from your dashboard.
- Notifications on a phone: logging out of the app removes that phone's notification token.
- Anything else: email info@gigoranetwork.com from your account's email address and tell us what you want deleted. We'll confirm the request is yours and delete it within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.
Before you delete
- Withdraw your wallet balance first. An account with money in its wallet can't be deleted.
- Finish any funded job in progress, or contact support about it. Accounts with an active contract can't be deleted until it's settled.
What gets deleted
Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. Your account and the data linked to it are deleted, including your profile, portfolio, proposals, messages, notifications, saved devices and sign-in sessions. Projects you posted are kept so the freelancers who worked on them keep their history, but they're no longer linked to you. You'll get an email confirming the deletion.
Records we're required to keep by law, such as payment and tax records, may be retained for the period the law requires, as described in our Privacy Policy.
